Synopsis:
With the strongest cast any Hong Kong TV fans can imagine, Instinct is one of the biggest hits in the 90s. Adam Cheng, Ekin Cheng, Roger Kwok, Leo Ku, Nadia Chan, Amy Kwok, Kiki Sheung and Paul Chu all appear in this 40-episode big production, and fans will enjoy the marvelous chemistries they have with each other. In yet another acclaimed piece after the popular The Greed Man in 1992, Adam Cheng plays a big-time businessman who establishes complex relationships with the younger ones. He pairs up with Kiki Sheung for the first time, presenting a very touching love story to the viewers. Ekin Cheng and Nadia Chan, TVB's golden couple in the 90s, pair up for the fifth time in TVB dramas yet giving viewers new surprises every time. Their wedding held in the hospital when remains most memorable.
Roger Kwok, well-known for playing good and righteous guys like that in Square Pegs, takes everyone by surprise in this drama for his magnificent portrayal as the big villain. This is also one of the few TVB dramas that features TV host-turned-singer Leo Ku, who proves to be just as good in acting. The performances of other new talents like Amy Kwok and Zhang Yan are also unbeatable. Together with veterans Hui Siu Hung and Paul Chu, they all add colors to the drama. The theme song Instinct, sung by Adam Cheng, and the sub-theme songs sung by Ekin Cheng, Leo Ku and Nadia Chan, have all become big hits.
